Characteristics

Vanconol® AF-110 antifogging agent combines dynamic contact angle technology and super hydrophilic coating technology to make condensation water on the surface of the film form a continuous and uniform transparent water film. While ensuring high transparency of the film, it effectively enhances the anti-fog durability of the film in high humidity environments, and can be applied to agricultural films, food packaging, and retail industries.

Product Principle

• Ambient temperature and humidity changes cause water vapor to condense into droplets on the film surface.
• High surface tension of water droplets prevents spreading, leading to discontinuous droplet accumulation.
• Droplets falling on crops or fresh produce can cause diseases or decay.
• Hydrophilic groups in AF-110 capture water molecules, adjusting surface tension to enable rapid spreading into a continuous transparent film.
• Under gravity, the water film flows laterally to the bottom of the greenhouse film.
• Ensures transparency while reducing crop diseases or fresh rot.

Place the coating solution in the coating tank and dilute it in a ratio of 1:11 to water. The film is then coated by roller coating or dip coating to form a coating layer, which is then dried to form a professional defogging coating.
